I'm a user experience designer aiming to develop innovative designs that strike the balance between functionality and usability.

I graduated from the University of Sydney, earning a degree in a Bachelor of Design Computing. With over 7 years experience in the industry, my interest lies within researching and developing functional user experiences.

    Working within the digital user experience team, my responsibilities cover the maintenence and improvement of the Bupa website.

  • I utilise wireframing tools including Balsamiq, Axure and Visio to communicate ideas and concepts to different business stakeholders.


    DocBook, an Australian-based company, offers a website to allow patients to make doctor appointments in real time.

  • As the primary designer, I consulted closely with the client to gain an understanding of the end users before creating low-fidelity wireframes, storyboards and visual designs.

    As a user experience consultant, I worked with a small development team to put together a website redesign concept for a group of Australian retirement communities.

  • The team collaborated closely with the stakeholders to understand the end-user before creating a final solution.

eWorks eStabdards Website
  • eWorks e-Standards

    I worked as a principal UX designer on this project, putting together a redesign proposal for the eWorks website which outlines Australian educational guidelines for eLearning.

  • I carried out user research, which involved card sorting exercises and group interviews.

Intersect Australia Annual Report 2009-2010
  • Intersect Annual Report

    A full colour, multi-page A4 size booklet design for an Annual Report for Intersect Australia.

  • This annual publication required type-setting content as well as creating engaging infographics.

    A print advertisement campaign for an online social networking site focusing on sharing Australian music and band information.

  • The final designs were used both online and on printed media.

    As a graphic designer, I was responsible for creating a series of advertising campaigns to promote a Sydney based IT consultancy.

  • This project included the design of their brand identity.

Interactive Design
  • cxTravel

    Working as a UX consultant, I collaborated with Tourism NSW to create a touch screen application (Microsoft PixelSense) for Sydney visitor information centres.

  • It allows tourists to create mini-itineraries to take away with them on multiple mobile device platforms.

Research Work
  • ExternalEyes

    This research work formed the basis of my honours thesis.

  • It focused on the development of a wrist worn display that measured and conveyed skin conductivity, which is a primitive measure of physiological arousal in humans.

    The device was developed using Arduino and Processing.
